About Sadaqah
Charity that reaches the needy the same week
A Sadaqah sacrifice is a voluntary act of charity: an animal is slaughtered in Kenya in the name you give and all of the meat is distributed to families in need there. There is no fixed date, so you can give it whenever the intention arises.
People give Sadaqah on behalf of a parent or relative who has passed away, in gratitude for a recovery or a new home, during an illness or hardship, or to seek reward. Give us the name and we mention it in the video. You can add a sacrifice for each intention.

FAQ
Sadaqah questions
Can I mention more than one name?
Yes. For Aqeeqa we name the child. For Qurbani and Sadaqah you can name yourself and family members. A sheep or goat is for one person, and a whole cow can carry up to seven names.
Where does the meat go?
All of the meat is distributed to families in need in Kenya, where the sacrifice takes place. Nothing is sold. Because the meat stays in Kenya, we cannot send a portion to you in Canada or the USA.
How does the video proof work?
After the sacrifice we send you a video on WhatsApp within 24‑48 hours. It shows the animal, the names you gave us being mentioned, and the sacrifice itself.
How do I pay?
Online, when you place your order: by card through Stripe, or by Interac e-Transfer from a Canadian bank. A card order is confirmed the moment the payment goes through, and an e-Transfer order as soon as the money lands. Your confirmation comes to your WhatsApp. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
Where is the sacrifice performed?
In Kenya. Our team there buys the animal, performs the sacrifice by hand according to the Sunnah with your names spoken aloud, films it, and distributes the meat to families in need nearby. You order from Canada or the USA and receive the video on WhatsApp within 24‑48 hours.
Do you issue tax receipts?
No. Sunnah Slaughter is a business, not a registered charity, so payments are not tax-deductible. You receive a receipt for your payment and the video as proof that the sacrifice was performed.
